Herein lies the NaNoWriMo journal of druidspell. Thanks to the challenge posed by impextoo in 2007, I will be competing in NaNoWriMo this year.
Here's hoping that 2008's attempt will have more success than 2007's.

Here are the rules for you people:

1. All of the original writing contained herein is my intellectual property, copyrighted to me.
2. By friending and reading this journal, you agree to respect my copyright--no using or linking to my work without my explicit permission, no redistributing my work, no derivative works based off of my writing, etc. etc.
3. The universe of Midnight Rising is copyrighted to myself and to duchesspariah/nanowriwhat. Copyright infringement will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.


Here are the rules for me:
1. Beginning at 00:00:00, November 1, 2008, I have thirty days (720 hours) in which to write 50,000 words. These words should, ideally, make sense in context with one another, and form a somewhat-cohesive whole.
2. I will post at least one update every week with updated word counts and chapter counts.
3. Though I can develop characters and chart plotlines and decide on themes prior to November 1, I cannot write any of the story itself before the start of National Novel Writing Month (aka November).
4. I will compulsively save back ups of my work, and will post them online in this journal and in my Locker at school, and will save an up-to-date copy on the hard drive of my main computer and to my flash drive.
5. At 23:59:59, I must put my metaphorical pencil down--the month is over, and whatever wordcount I have is what will count towards my victory.
